Does Jesus love sinners?
Hello, I’m Felix Harcourt. Welcome to Felix Harcourt Ministries. Praise God! Friends, today I want to answer a question that was asked. Does Jesus love sinners?
In Mark 2:15 to 17. NIV. While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners? On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Friends, Jesus Loves sinners, and He came because of sinners. The above scripture said, “While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners ate with Him and his disciples. But “When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw Him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they were distraught and confronted his disciples: “Why does your master (Jesus) eat with tax collectors and sinners?” The scripture said, “When Jesus heard this, He said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Praise God! Friends, Christ did not come for self-proclaimed righteous people who see no reason to repent. No! Jesus came to save sinners. Those the world and religious people have rejected. Those who are hopeless so they can be made clean and righteous.
Isaiah said, “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Isaiah 1:18 NKJV.
He is for you and willing to bring you to your original place and make you become your real you. Praise God! Scripture says that you have been fearfully and wonderfully made and are the light of the world, the salt of the earth. Praise God! This means Christ has not made you a victim of sin, sickness, or setback. No! Friends, you are a treasure in the Heart of Christ, and because of how valuable you are, He gave up His life just for you so that you will live a fulfilled life, A life that is free from sin, free from sickness, free from lack, and pressure of life. Praise God! Friends, Christ doesn’t just want to associate with you because you have everything right and perfect. No.” That is not the case. He wants to fix your life because He is the Master in fixing broken lives.
The scripture says in Acts 10:38 that “Jesus Christ went about doing good and healing everyone who the devil has oppressed. Today, as you open up your heart to Him, I see you free from all Satanic spells in the Name of Jesus! You will begin to experience His goodness in every area of your life in the Name of Jesus! Everything about you will change for the better! Praise God! Friends, whatever condition you are in, is not new to Jesus. No condition is too big, and no situation is too small for Jesus. Are you a big sinner, as you have called yourself? In Luke 5 and 8, When Christ met Peter, Christ never called Peter a name. He never judged him or condemned him. Peter was not a successful and wealthy man then. No! And he has not kept all the religious rules that some of us worry about. No! The only thing Peter did was be obedient, and he got his miracle through obedience. Peter’s life was fixed just because he opened his heart to Jesus. Praise God!
Friends, have you been rejected? You have good news! There is hope for you in the Name of Jesus! A man with Leprosy met Jesus in Luke 5:30. He asked Jesus if Jesus would be willing to heal him from Leprosy. Christ never hesitated to respond. Yes, I will, and He healed the man. Not just that, the scripture said Jesus touched this man who had Leprosy. No matter what condition you think you are in or what you have done, Christ is willing to forgive you heal you, and He is willing to hug you and transform your life if you permit Him. He is the savior of my life. He fixed my life, and I am liberated. Praise God! Friends, you, too, have been made to be liberated; it’s just for you to accept the Person of Jesus into your life. Friends, please stop condemning yourself and biting yourself down. God loves you.
The scripture said He lavished His Great Love on you and called you His own. Christ Jesus gave up His life on the cross so that you will be free from the hand of the tormentor, the devil. You don’t have to be in that condition anymore, my friends; the scripture says, “The good news is that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. It says, “Whoever has the Son has life?” Your life, health, and everything you want or need is in Christ Jesus. Every! If you are willing and ready to reclaim your treasure by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I confess my sin and accept you into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me in Jesus’ Name, Amen. Glory! Welcome home. Praise God! A new life is in you now. In every situation you were in, Christ suffered it so you could experience this new life you just received. There was an exchange of life on the cross. Christ took your place and gifted you His life.
The scripture says He was made sin so that you could become His righteousness. He was made poor so you could become rich, and by His wounds and stripes, you have been made well, healed, and whole. Praise God! You are expected to believe this is who you are now, not what you will become. Nope! In Christ, you have been made right with the Father. In Christ, you have been healed. In Christ, you are perfect, free from guilt and condemnation. Name it! You are free from satanic spells. Free from the hand of the devil. Praise God! Believe it, celebrate your freedom, and become conscious of your new life in Christ Jesus! Praise God! Friends, go for the knowledge of Jesus. Freedom is in the true knowledge of Christ Jesus. Scripture says as He is in Heaven, so are we here on earth. Praise God! In Heaven, Christ is healthy, so I’m healthy. Whatever thing, Christ is in Heaven, so I am here on earth. I might not look it, but my belief will change my looks. That is how it works in Christianity—the kingdom of God. As Christians, we don’t become to believe; we believe to become. That’s the truth, and that is what faith is.
Friends, join me in believing the scriptures that reveal Christ’s finished work. Praise God! You can see this from the scripture about Peter; read the whole story. Peter was a sinner, and Christ never reminded him of his sin. Christ blessed him even when he was still a sinner and transformed his life. Then Peter now confessed his sins to Jesus. Praise God! Sin is not the problem. Your heart is the problem. If you can, give your heart, life, tools, and yourself to Jesus, just as Peter did. Peter gave up obedience. He gave up his life to Jesus to use. When Jesus used his life, his life was transformed, and he confessed his sin. Praise God! Obedience was what transformed Peter, the man with Leprosy obedience, too. He believed in Christ; the man with Leprosy was not perfect. His life was a mess.
When he was still having his Leprosy, he met Jesus and said, “Are you willing to make me clean?” Are you willing to forgive me? Are you willing to heal me? Are you willing to accept me with all of my baggage? And Jesus said, I am willing, “He responded. This is my will. This is what I am gifted with. This is the reason why I came. I came to save the lost and to heal the sick. I am the friend of sinners. I am here to change one’s situation. And He transformed the man with Leprosy. He hugged the man. He kissed the man, and He touched the man. And the man was free, why? Because the man recognized the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Friends, As you have accepted Christ into your life, ‘good’ Begin to believe everything He has said about you. In Christ, you are perfect. In Christ, you are healed. In Christ, you are everything good you think you should be in life. Everything good and perfect is in Christ Jesus. With Christ, you are qualified for all God’s kingdom inheritance. In Christ, you are perfect with no spots or wrinkles.
Friends, you are loved by God. Stop condemning yourself, beating yourself down, criticizing yourself, and calling yourself names. No! No! That is not acceptable. That is not who you are anymore. You are valuable and precious to God your Father. Praise God! His Son’s blood was shed because of you. Christ gave up His life just for you. Embrace Him, as you have done so, by accepting Him Jesus into your life. Seek for knowledge. What Christ is to you, what He has accomplished on your behalf so that you could believe in it. For instance, the scripture says, ” by His wound, you have been healed. Not you will be healed. Christ was beaten, Christ was punished, and Christ was tortured so that you would be set free from every illness. He suffered, so you will not suffer. Each of His ugly experiences was for your benefit. Whatever Christ went through, you are not supposed to go through again in life. Why? Because He Christ took your position. A sacrifice has been paid once and for all. We are free from satanic oppression and from the kingdom of darkness.
As we have met Christ Jesus, we are no longer sinners but saints, not victims of illness but victorious over disease. Praise God! Glory! Hallelujah! Friends, Jesus loves sinners, but He doesn’t love sin. It was because of sinners that Christ sacrificed His life so He could save sinners. John 3:16 NKJV. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. That was a demonstration of love. Friends, Sinners sin not because they want to but because they have the nature of sin inherited from Adam.
Romans 7:15, 17 NLT. I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. If I hate sinners, I will not do what I’m doing today. Never. I’m doing what I’m doing today because I hate sin, not sinners.
2 Corinthians 5:19-21 NLT. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
