Five Kingdom Rights as a Christian
Ignorance will deprive us of the benefits we are entitled to.
Thomas Jefferson said ignorance of the law is no excuse, and the bible says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
In Christianity, we excel, make progress, and advance through knowledge and understanding. We cannot gain territory if we lack knowledge of who we are in him. It’s essential to gain knowledge in our Christian Walk.
We need to know and be established in our identity in Christ Jesus, so that we don’t suffer from an identity crisis, and as a result, make progress in life.
God is seen in Christ Jesus, and our identity is rooted in Christ Jesus. In Christianity, we are called to be victors and live a victorious life. Christianity is not a religion or a church denomination, a church doctrine, or a divided group.
True Christianity is a living relationship with a living God made possible through Jesus Christ. Christianity is not about Jesus, but Christianity is Jesus himself. We have Christianity because of Jesus; so, no Jesus, then no Christianity.
Acts 4:13-14 – Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. 14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
Christianity is living a lifestyle of Jesus Christ here on earth.
Colossians 2:6- So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
Just as we received the life of Christ Jesus, then we should continue to live in Christ. Our focus should be on building a living palpable relationship with Christ.
Total dependence on the finished work of Jesus Christ is the essence of Christianity, not a lifestyle modification. We should believe and rely on Christ Jesus and let our relationship with the Father be dependent on what Christ did on the cross.
We cannot be in sync and have a true relationship with Christ, and it is not evident in our lives.
Five Kingdom Rights as a Christian –
- You are God’s child, and God loves you unconditionally. Believing in the unconditional love of the Father will change so many wrong beliefs in our lives
1 John 3:1 – “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.“ - God has delivered us: We are already delivered, and not the Lord is going to deliver us, but already delivered. He delivered in Christ based on what Christ did. So, we are entirely free.
- You are a Citizen of heaven, an ambassador of heaven, and a representative of Christ.
Proverbs 13:17- “A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.”
Faithful in believing the finished work of Christ and faithful in believing God and His word. Believing is the first step, not our action. The correct belief will result in the proper corresponding action.
- All that God has in His kingdom belongs to us. The Father says, ‘You are always with me, and all that I have is yours.’
Lk 15:31- “He said to him, ‘My son, you are here with me always; everything I have is yours.“
- Jesus Christ qualified us with all the inheritance in heaven. Whatever we believe the Lord, Christ has already qualified us to receive it.
Col 1:12- “Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.“
