God’s Word: Why It Is More Reliable Than Any Man’s Word

A Felix Harcourt Ministries Teaching.

Ministry Introduction

At Felix Harcourt Ministries, we are committed to raising believers who are grounded in truth, established in grace, and anchored in God’s unchanging Word. In a generation where opinions shift, promises fail, and systems crumble, the Word of God remains the only sure foundation for victorious Christian living. Friends, Life’s challenges are real, but God’s Word is more real.

This teaching is written to help you understand why God’s Word can be trusted absolutely, why God must never be compared to man, and why building your Life on Scripture is not religious tradition but spiritual wisdom.

The Reality of Life’s Challenges, and the Greater Reality of God’s Word: The challenges of Life are undeniable. Financial pressures, health battles, delays, disappointments, betrayals, and uncertainty are part of the human experience. Many believers ask sincere questions in hard seasons: “Can God really be trusted?” “Will His promises come to pass?” Scripture answers clearly: Yes, without exception.

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20. NIV.

God’s Word is dependable. It is not emotional. It is not seasonal. It is not situational. It does not respond to pressure. It does not expire with time.

“Forever, O LORD, your word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89. NKJV.

What is settled in heaven cannot be shaken on earth.

God’s Word Is God Himself

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 (NIV)

This Scripture establishes a foundational truth: God and His Word are inseparable.

When you trust God’s Word, you are trusting God Himself. When you build your Life on Scripture, you are building your Life on God’s nature, integrity, and character.

At Felix Harcourt Ministries, we teach that faith begins where God’s Word is final. You cannot claim to trust God while doubting His Word, because His Word is Him.

“For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” Psalm 138:2 (NKJV)

God has exalted His Word above everything else. That means His reputation is tied to His Word, and God has never failed.

God Is Not a Man, And Must Never Be Treated Like One

“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind.” Numbers 23:19 (NIV)

One of the most significant errors believers make is projecting human behavior onto God. People lie. God does not. People promise and fail. God does not. People change their minds. God does not.

God does not speak casually. When He speaks, He commits His power to His Word.

“Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)

At FHM, we boldly declare: God can be fully, completely, and eternally trusted.

Why Trusting Man Is an Unstable Foundation

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)

Scripture does not insult humanity; it simply reveals reality. Even good people are limited. Even sincere people are flawed. Even loving people are imperfect.

That is why the Bible warns: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh.” Jeremiah 17:5 (NIV)

People are meant to be channels, not sources. Trusting people is natural, but depending on people absolutely is dangerous.

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146:3 (NKJV)

God alone is the source that never fails.

Obedience to God’s Word Is the Highest Form of Wisdom

Trusting God’s Word when Life is easy requires little faith. Trusting God’s Word in hardship is wisdom.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV)

Wisdom is not denying reality; it is choosing God’s Word above what you see.

  • When finances are tight, God remains your provider (Philippians 4:19).
  • When sickness attacks, healing is still your inheritance (1 Peter 2:24).
  • When delays persist, God is still faithful in His timing (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
  • When people disappoint you, God never will (Hebrews 13:5).

The Unshakable Foundation: Hearing and Doing God’s Word

Jesus made it clear that stability in Life comes from obedience, not information.

“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24 (NIV)

Storms come to everyone. What determines survival is not prayer volume, church attendance, or confession alone, but foundation.

Luke records it this way:

“He dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.” Luke 6:48 (NIV)

Depth is developed through obedience.

God’s Word Is Alive, Powerful, and Life-Giving

“The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63 (NKJV)

God’s Word is not mere encouragement, but a spiritual substance.

  • It produces faith (Romans 10:17)
  • It heals (Psalm 107:20)
  • It renews the mind (Romans 12:2)
  • It delivers (Hebrews 4:12)

At Felix Harcourt Ministries, we teach believers not just to read the Word—but to live by it.

God’s Word Is Eternal and Unchanging

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:35 (NKJV)

God’s Word existed before your problem—and it will outlast it.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8 (NKJV)

What God has spoken cannot be reversed, altered, or canceled.

FHM Conclusion: Build on What Cannot Fail

At Felix Harcourt Ministries, our message is simple and unwavering:

Men may fail.
Systems may shake.
Feelings may lie.
But God’s Word will never fail.

Do not treat God like a man.
Do not treat His Word like advice.
Build your Life on Scripture, and you will stand when others fall.

“Let God be true, but every man a liar.” Romans 3:4 (KJV).
