Heavenly Citizens Part 1
Hello, my name is Felix Harcourt, and today I will discuss what I title Heavenly Citizens. What I am about to share with you is one of the many things that have changed my life, and I strongly believe it will change yours, too, in Jesus’ Name.
God is a Good God, and I say so because I know as I know my name that God is a good God. Whatever I will be privileged to share with you is all I have experienced from Him. This means I will not be telling you theories but practical ones. It is practical, in essence, that I will be sharing my life experiences.
Let’s start with Ephesians 2:19. So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens, along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.
You seized to be a stranger and a foreigner when you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. As Christians, we are at a better advantage of God’s kingdom inheritance. We now belong to a different kingdom, His own family. Everything He has belongs to us—every good thing. I say every good thing you need belongs to you.
It is time we know and stop living like strangers. The scripture said: For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, Colossians 1:13 NIV.
We are no more a victim of the kingdom of darkness where sickness is the birthright of its citizens. No, we belong to a domain where health is our birthright. One day, Apostle Paul was bitten by an angry Roman soldier, but when Paul said are you doing this to me as a citizen? Guess what happened? The word citizen changed the atmosphere. The Roman officer stopped immediately as soon as he heard the word citizen. He went and told the highest officer what Paul had just said. That is how effective citizenship is.
When you know who you are, it makes a huge difference. Satan will only leave you when you know your identity, Not because you go to church. Not because you keep all the rules and regulations. You can do all that and still be victimized by sickness. The good thing about this heavenly kingdom and its inheritance is that you don’t work to be qualified. Why? Because Jesus had qualified you and me. He delivered us and qualified us for the kingdom’s inheritance. Once you give your life to Christ, you are entitled to the kingdom’s what? Inheritance.
Every good and perfect thing belongs to us. How will you be begging for what is yours? You should know that is not right. The scripture says And giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Who has, past tense. You see, you have been qualified for whatever good thing you can think of. Most of you are still waiting to be delivered, and some are going about looking for deliverance. Some are still begging God for the exact thing He has already given them. And you wonder why your prayers are not answered.
Remember the story of the prodigal Son’s elder brother in Luke 15. “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. (a Christian. born again. Spirit field). So his Father went out and pleaded with him. ( that is who God is. That is why I told you earlier that the God I know is not as you think. Who on earth can do this? It’s only Jesus Christ.
There is hope for you) The young man answered his Father, ‘Look! All these years, I’ve been slaving (volunteering, serving) you and have never disobeyed your orders.
(Perfect Christian with wrong mentally. Zero identity)
The truth is that it is not about what you do but what you believe that matters. Our believe determine what we do. “And Abraham believed in God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” You see, your believe determine your expression.
So, the prodigal Son’s elder brother had a wrong belief in his Father. Let’s continue with the young man’s story.
Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this Son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the biggest cow for him!’ (can you recollect his Father’s response? Oh my goodness, this is interesting. The Father which is God said) “ ’My son,’ the Father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.
This is what changed my life. Everything God has belongs to me. Wow! Most of us respond to God in prayer or approach Him like the elder brother of the prodigal Son. We murmured and complained, telling God many stories about our experience as if He were deaf and blind, and wondered why our situation had not changed. That is not how it works. Time is about to cut us up. The summary of what I’m trying to communicate to you is this:
1. You have been delivered. Not you will be delivered. You have been healed and delivered from that illness through what Christ did for us on the cross.
2. You are a citizen of heaven. You are an ambassador for Christ. That’s what 2 Corinthians 5:20 says. You all know what ambassador means. A faithful ambassador is health. Proverbs 13.
3. Everything heaven has belongs to you. All that I have belongs to you. That’s what God said. It’s wrong for you to be begging for what belongs to you.
4. You are qualified for what you are looking for. Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Lord, for your graciousness. He qualified you and me. Not our good works, not our education, nothing but Jesus Christ is the one.
5. You don’t need to beg but receive. It is time we start believing and receiving all Christ has done, including your health. When you know what Christ had done for you, and you believe it, then you will become what you have believed.
Thank you, and please be in touch. Listen to our announcer for more information. But before we end, I will pray for every sick. That is why it’s called healing school, but before we dive into the healing school prayer, I would like to give an opportunity to everyone who wants to receive Jesus into their lives, and if you are ready, please make this confession after me.
Lord Jesus. I confess my Sin. And I accept you into my life. To be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me in Jesus’ Name, Amen. Glory!. Enjoy your season of life in Jesus’ name.
GOOD NEWS!
Praise God! Friends, Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, was crucified on the cross because of us. He took our judgment so we would not be judged. When He was fully judged, He declared on the cross, “It is finished.” John 19:30 means no more judgment on anyone who believes in Jesus Christ. Friends, Sin, sickness, and poverty are the manifestations of judgment. Through Christ Jesus, we have been freed from judgment and its manifestations: you can study 2 Corinthians 5:21, Isaiah 53:5, 2 Corinthians 8:5, and John 3:18. Friends, Christ’s judgment on the cross has a lot of benefits for us, and one of those is the change of your identity. Praise God! This is the good news.
Lets pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for every sick hearing the sound of my voice to be healed from any sickness that they have been diagnosed with. Whatever name it is, I command the spirit to leave them in Jesus’ name. Amen.
