How To Appropriate God’s Word

Friends, God’s Word is real. Nothing is more real than God’s Word, and it is the truth; nothing is more trustworthy than God’s Word. God’s Word is the light that eliminates darkness. It means that wherever there is darkness and God’s Word is introduced, darkness has no choice but to leave. That’s how powerful God’s Word is. I see you free from every darkness in the Name of Jesus. God’s words give life. John 6:63 says that the Word I speak to you is spirit and life. Praise God! I see you regaining your health in the Name of Jesus!
Friends, God’s Word is not for personal interpretation, but it works for whoever believes it. 2 Peter 1: Friends, So, next, you are reading or studying the Bible, which is the Word of God, personalize it to yourself. Tell yourself, is God speaking to me. John 1:1 ESV. Says. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. So God’s Word is God. God is real, God is the truth, God is the light, and God is His Word that gives life. Praise God! Whenever I step aside to study God’s Word, I see myself hearing from God. Why? Because I believe He is the One talking to me through the pages of the Bible. So I treasure every Word. I personalized every Word I found, and it has benefited me.
For example, Romans 10:10 NKJV. Says “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. So I meditate on it. With my heart, I believe to become right and righteous, and with my mouth, I confess to be saved. Saved from what? Saved from every unsaved thing. Saved from sin, saved from sickness, and saved from every satanic oppression. Knowing that it’s God speaking to me, I believed it. It says again in Matthew 8:17 NKJV, “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘He Himself (talking about Christ) took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” Christ took my illness. Took, past tense. He took it, so I don’t have one. I accept, believe it without a doubt. Why? Because I trust the One speaking to me, which is God. I’m healed, not because of my current feelings but because He says so. “For we walk by faith and not by feelings. I’m righteous not because of my current behavior but because the Word says so, and I believe it; that makes me righteous.
Romans 5:19 NKJV. Says “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. I became a sinner, not because I did anything wrong. I was a sinner because I had the nature of sin. And now that I have accepted Christ into my life. I have been made righteous. So, my righteousness is not because of my good works, but it is because of who that is in me that I believe. Mary said to the disciples, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” And the disciples respond to what Christ told them, and they all experience a miracle because they believed. Everyone who ever encounters a miracle believes the Word and responds to what the Word says. Faith without corresponding actions is not faith. The Scripture says, “by faith the elders received a good report.
Friends, God has not forgotten you. He has given you His Word. Your miracle is in the Word. God’s Word says He will fulfill the number of my days, so I’m not afraid that I will die untimely. Why? Because I trust Him. I believe every Word of His, as Mary said, Luke 1:45 , NKJV. Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” It works for her because she believes it. It is working for me because I believe. It will work for you if you believe. God is not a respecter of anyone. He is not partial. He doesn’t show favor to just some set of people. No! His Word is for everyone. Christ died for the entire world. The sacrifice of Christ was for the whole world, but only those who believe in His sacrifice will experience its benefits.
If you are in a tough situation. It doesn’t mean God has forgotten about you. Not at all! It’s because you haven’t believed His Word. And in every condition you are. God has spoken a word in that regard. The Scripture says, “Isaiah 55:11 ESV.” “So shall my Word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Friends, God has sent His Word. Not He may send. No! The pages of the Bible are God speaking to every one of us. Not to people of old. NO! God’s Word is for all generations. It is for me. I received it, and I believe it, and I have become what I have believed. Friends, you don’t believe God’s Word from your mind, which is your soul. You believe in God from your spirit. God is a Spirit. Upper case S. He made us in His image and likeness. So it means we are spirits. Lower case s. He is our Father, and we are His children.
He said in John 6:63 that we read earlier, the Word He speaks to us is spirit and life. So when He speaks, He speaks to our spirit and not to our soul. In our spirit, we are exactly like Him. Praise God! Friends, if you want your body to change, then you must believe in who you are in your spirit, because that is the real you. That is who God speaks to. Friends, I recommend a book titled Spirit, Soul, and Body by Andrew Wommack. It will help you understand the difference between your soul, body, and spirit.
Friends, if we are created in the image of God, then we are not different from God. Psalm 82:6 ESV. Said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; Praise God! Friends, everything I have said will make sense to you, or I should say that the journey of appropriating God’s Word to oneself begins with having Christ in your life. What I know and what I am. It is Christ in me that makes the difference. He is the Lord of my life. Praise God! Friends, the Scripture said in Romans, we read before that “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You believe from your heart that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and you will be right with God the Father. You confess His lordship and become saved. Save from sin, save from sickness, and free from the kingdom of Satan to become His own child. Praise God!
Friends, if you are ready. Please repeat these words after me. Lord Jesus. I confess my sin. I accept you into my life. To be my Lord and savior. Thank you for saving me in Jesus’ Name, Amen. Praise God. Friends, your life has undergone a spiritual transformation. You now possess the nature of God the Father within you. The older you is dead and gone! In you, it is brand new, and it can not be corrupted. Praise God! I will recommend that you start reading your Bible and, alongside that, listen to other messages and read our blog. It will really bless and transform your life. Praise God!
In summary, when you open the Bible to read, see God talking to you. Not a 3rd person. Not your spouse or John, James, and Peter. But you. Don’t try to analyze God’s Word with your brain. Friends, believe God. Believe His Word. Trust Him and enjoy His fullness. Praise God! Most of you trust the system more than God, who created the universe. You are just undoing yourself. One Word from God that you believe can bring you from the bottom to the top. Top in health, in wealth. Top in every area of life. God’s Word. The Scripture says, “it upholds all things. Not some things, but all things can be changed through God’s Word.
Friends, don’t undermine God’s Word. God’s Word is God Himself. What will heal, deliver, protect, and keep you free from satanic harassment is God’s Word that you believe. Not your church building, not your Bible, you put under your pillow, and the cross you hang in your car. But God’s Word that is in your heart. He sent His Word, and the Word He sent healed and delivered those who believe. Psalm 107:20. Emphasis added. I see you free in the Name of Jesus!
