HOW TO PRAY WITH AUTHORITY

Hello, I’m Felix Harcourt. Welcome to Felix Harcourt Ministries. Friends, today, I want to share with you “HOW TO PRAY WITH AUTHORITY. Praise God! Friends, Prayer is a necessity for our daily triumph. It is a privilege given to us by God our Father to meet with Him. Prayer is an honorable calling from God our Father to meet with us, His children. Prayer is a platform God has given us to build relationships, strengthen a relationship, and exercise authority over the forces of darkness.

The scripture says In Hebrews 4:16. Let us come boldly to the Throne of Grace, to obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need. Friends, God is calling us to come to the Throne. And Where is God? God is on the Throne. Isaiah 40:22. NCV. God sits on His Throne above the circle of the Earth, and compared to Him, people are like grasshoppers. Praise God! Friends, When you honor this invitation from God. You have stepped into God’s Throne when you step aside to pray.

Praise God! God’s Throne is a place of honor, a place of power, and authority. On the Throne, you see things the way God sees them. The scripture said, “Compared to Him, people are like grasshoppers. It means when you are on the Throne to pray, you see the kingdom of darkness and all satanic forces as grasshoppers. Praise God! Why? Because you are in God’s position. You are acting on His behalf on the Throne. You are the one in charge. The kingdom of darkness is at your mercy.  An impossible situation becomes possible when you are on the Throne praying. Praise God!

Friends, as Christians, we are loaded with God’s ability to make things happen for our advantage here on Earth. Psalms 82:6. Says, “You are gods, lowercase g. And all of you are the children of the Most High. A prince is respected in society. You are meant to be respected because God resides in you. You are made in His image and likeness. Every creature gives birth to its kind, and they all act alike. So, we are superior to any other creature, including the forces of hell. Friends, use the Throne your Father God calls you into to your advantage. It says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need. Praise God!

The Throne of God is full of Grace. The scripture says,  “Where sin abounded, Grace abounded much more. Romans 5:20. NKJV. It means there is zero sin in the Throne of God. The Throne of God is not the place you come to count all the names Satan has called you. No! That is what Satan wants you to do, but don’t be a victim of his lies. Friends, you are loved by God. When you pray with that consciousness of God’s love for you, your Prayer brings more results. Remember, the scripture says we should come boldly, confidently, and not with fear and shyness. No! You can’t get things done with such an attitude of timidity caused by sin consciousness.

Friends, Christ’s sacrifice on the cross has wiped away all your past, present, and future wrongdoing. You have everything at your disposal on the Throne where God is calling you to be. It says Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need. You must go to the Throne with boldness because it’s full of God’s Grace to receive mercy and favor to enjoy life. Praise God! Friends, anytime you step aside to Pray, whether you are seated, standing, walking, driving, bathing, or eating.

In whatever position you might be, it doesn’t matter, but be aware that you have stepped out from the ordinary level. You are no more at the ordinary level. You are in a higher frequency, higher than the demonic realm, functioning in the capacity of the person who invited you to the Throne, which is God, your Father. Praise God! When you pray, you pray with authority. Either you are giving command to the kingdom of darkness or calling forth those things that are not as they were. When you pray with authority, you will know within yourself. You are not necessarily raising your voice, but power is coming out within you. Praise God!

Friends, As you pray in your understanding, you also pray in the Spirit as Paul said, “I will pray with the Spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the Spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding. 1 Corinthians 14:15. You don’t become a stereotype in your Prayer. Praying in the Spirit or tongues is a tool for spiritual warfare. When you pray in the Spirit, according to the scripture, it is the Spirit in you praying. It says if I pray in an unknown tongue, it is my Spirit that prays. 1 Corinthians 14:14. Friends, Walking with the Holy Spirit has many benefits you cannot ignore in your Christian Walk. Never! Friends, ignoring the ministry of the Holy Spirit will make you become an empty Christian.

There is no wisdom for a Christ follower to ignore the person of the Holy Spirit. No wisdom! Jesus said in John 16, “It is suitable or expedients for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter which is the Holy Spirit will not come to you; but if I depart, that is, if I leave. I will send him the Holy Spirit to you. I have many things to say, but you cannot bear them now. But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth:

Friends, God loves you, and He cares for you. You are His beloved. Don’t walk on Earth as someone who lacks support. No! We can’t enjoy our victories in Christ without the Holy Spirit functioning in our lives. Never! Christianity becomes a struggle without the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Praying with authority becomes our lifestyle, and it is powerful when our Prayer is motivated by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “All Power and authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to Him, Jesus. Matthew 28:18. Praise God! Friends, Where is Jesus? In you, in the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit represents God the Father and the Son on Earth, and He is in us. Friends, with Him in you, you can’t be a victim. No! Use what He has gifted you: the  Throne and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Don’t let satan intimidate you. He has no power. Friends, function in the capacity where God has called you to be: the Throne.

The scripture says Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need. Praise God! Friends, It all begins with having a relationship with God the Father through the Son, Jesus Christ. The scripture says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 is the life that qualifies you to become God’s kingdom citizen and the life that guarantees your heaven after life on Earth is over. The life that gives you confidence in Prayer. Friends, if you’re ready to receive this God-kind life, please say these words after me.

Lord Jesus. I confess my sin. I accept you into my heart. To be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Praise God! Congratulation! Friends, grow your knowledge about who you are in God. Start reading your Bible. The Bible is God’s Word and His will for you. John 1 and 1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Take God’s Words personally. It means seeing God talking to you through the pages of the Bible. Luke 9 and 1 says Jesus gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases. We are all given the power and authority to effect changes on Earth starting from our lives. So, begin to exercise authority over the issues confronting you. Not about you but the person that is in you.

The scripture says, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Believe in Him that is in you. You have the Holy Spirit in you now that you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. Romans 8:15. CEB. Said, “You didn’t receive a spirit of slavery to lead you back again into fear, but you received a Spirit that shows, you are adopted as his children. With this Spirit, we cry, “Abba, Father.” Friends, with the Holy Spirit in you, you are a victor, not a victim. When a judge sits in his seat, he is there to judge others and to condemn whoever deserves condemnation. A judge is not in his position to judge or condemn himself.

The Throne of Prayer is not a place to count sin and condemn yourself. No! That is why God called it the Throne of Grace. At the Throne, you either talk with God, access your kingdom inheritance, or address the mountain confronting you. The scripture says come, let us reason together. This is a statement of a relationship. God is your father, and you are his child. Another scripture says command ye me the work of my hands. This requires a different approach to your Prayer. Another scripture says if you speak to the mountain and do not doubt it, you shall have what you say. You see. So, you are to speak to your challenge, not God.

Friends, this Godly kingdom you are in has principles. If things are not working for you, then check your approach. Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find Grace to help in time of need. Praise God!
