Is Jesus God?
Hello, I’m Felix Harcourt. Welcome to Felix Harcourt Ministries. Praise God! Today, I want to answer a question that is asked all over briefly. Is Jesus God? Friends, my answer is yes, Jesus is God. Friends, I repeated it without a doubt. Jesus is God. Friends, I will be very brief. If you need more explanation, contact us using the link and address on the screen—the book of Hebrews 1:8-9 NIV. “But about the Son, He says, “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
Praise God! Here, God is calling Jesus His God. So Jesus is God. It said, “About the Son, He says, “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever.” What makes God God? God is God because He has these qualities—number 1. God is omnipotent. It means God is almighty—number 2. God is omnipresent. It means God is everywhere—number 3. God is omniscient. It means God knows all things—number 4. God is Eternal. It means God has no beginning and no end. The I am The alpha and the omega. Forever, He is God. So let’s see what the scripture says: Jesus is.
- Omnipotent:
Ephesians 1:20-23 NKJV He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Jesus is God, omnipotence. All powerful.
2. Omnipresence:
Matthew 18:20 KJV. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 28:20 KJV. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Jesus is God. Omnipresence. He is always with us.
3. Omniscience:
John 2:24-25 KJV. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. John 16:30 NIV. Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.” Colossians 2:3 NIV. in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Jesus is God. Omniscience. He knows all things.
4. Eternal:
Isaiah 9:6-7 NIV. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. Jesus is God. Eternal. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.
5. Unchangeable:
Hebrews 1:10-12 NIV. He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.” Colossians 2:9-10 NIV. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. Jesus is God. Unchangeable. He is the same yesterday and today and forever. Praise God!
Friends, Jesus Christ is God but functions on earth as the Son. Genesis 1:26 says, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image. Genesis 1:27. So God created man in his own image. Genesis 1:28. And God blessed them in 26. God said, “Let Us. 27. God created. 28. God blessed. In God is the Son. In God is the Holy Spirit. They are all one but have different administrations. John 10:30 KJV. Says, ‘I and my Father are one. Friends, To add to your knowledge, study the gospel of John 1:1 through 18 and John 14:9. In John 1:14 NKJV. Says And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Who is this person? Jesus. He is God.

Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He. [20] Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”
Friends, You can’t say you choose God but don’t care who Jesus is. No! It doesn’t work that way. John 14 and 9 says as you have seen Me (Jesus Christ), you have seen The Father (God). Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 NKJV. That is a bold declaration from someone who knew who He was.
Friends, if you are willing to embrace the gift of God the Father, say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I confess my sin. I accept you into my life to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Congratulations. You just made the best choice in your life. This is what made you a child of God. Not your good works, but Christ in you.
