PRAYER SECRETs

As gas or fuel is to fire, Love is also to prayer. The gas increases the flame of the fire. So, likewise, Love improves the result of prayer. 1 John 4:8 Says, Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is Love.

GOD IS LOVE

Love is God’s nature. So when we walk in Love, we walk like God, and walking in God’s nature enables us to walk in sign, that’s walking in the miraculous. Galatians 3:28. Says, “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

There is no race in the kingdom of God. As born-again believers, we belong to God’s kingdom. We are here as representatives, so we are here to reflect on what that heavenly kingdom has. When people relate with us, they should see heaven through our expression. The scripture said in 2 Corinthians 5:20. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

We are called to represent Him, and He gave us a message to unite. Our lifestyle is to be different because we are light and salt; in other words, we are to add value. We are an agent of positive change. As Christians, our beliefs, attitudes, and language must differ. When people meet us, they shouldn’t ask for Jesus. Why? Because Christ is reflecting through you. That is how we are designed to be.

The scripture confirms it in the book of Colossians 1:27. To them, God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery: Christ in you, the hope of glory.

We are not here to add to the world’s problems but to positively transform the world with the message He has given us. This earthly realm where we are is full of racism, tribalism, etc. We shouldn’t be part of that. But unfortunately, that is the opposite.

One of Jesus’s last prayers is that we should be united. Unfortunately, many of us are the opposite of Christ’s prayer. This idea of European Americans doesn’t feel comfortable worshipping in African American churches. African Americans don’t feel comfortable worshipping in Asian American churches. Asian Americans don’t feel comfortable worshipping in Latino American churches. The list continues. That’s not of God. That’s not how God designs his church.

I encourage us to exclude ourselves from ordinary religious people. Why? Because Christianity is not a religion. It has a bit of religion in it, where it says in James 1:27 that. True religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows. If caring for orphans and widows makes you a Christian, then every other group is all Christians.

True Christianity is living out the life of the Father in the Son here on earth.  Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him. Colossians 2:6.

TRUE LOVE

God loves us more than we’ll ever know, and He never meant for us to go through life alone. He’s the essence of Love; therefore, He’s uniquely qualified to teach us its meaning. However, we can’t love anyone until we first love, respect, and value ourselves. We’re created in God’s image, and He brought a miracle into the world the day we were born.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalms 139:13-14.

The Love God has for us is nothing that the world can understand. It goes much deeper than feelings or emotions. It’s the most potent force in the universe because it comes from Him. “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud, or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

God chose to love and accept us before birth; He’ll always love us, no matter what we do. This knowledge enables us to love ourselves even when making mistakes and bad choices. “We love Him, because he first loved us” 1 John 4:19. Loving others the way we love ourselves lays the groundwork for healthy relationships.

Seeing ourselves how God sees us helps us make wise choices and avoid toxic friendships. His kind of Love is reflected in equal partnerships with mutual respect. His will is to express His Love for us through a positive relationship. Love—not a sense of neediness—should motivate everything we do. “Let all that you do be done with love” 1 Corinthians 16:14.

Forgiveness is another component of Love. When others hurt us, we can either hold a grudge and become bitter or resentful or let it go and move on. Unforgiveness is painful and bad for any relationship. However, we can extend forgiveness to others because God has already offered it. “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you” Ephesians 4:31, 32.

No love’s any more trustworthy or genuine than the Love God offers us. He has put some beautiful things in us that no one else has, and He wants us to share these gifts with others. Accepting what He has for us opens us up to new possibilities we could never achieve.

WALKING IN THE REALM OF GOD

Understanding Love and walking in it makes you fruitful like your Father God. So, this ministry of prayer that we are in is enormous. So, we must solidify the foundation, and Love is that foundation for a fruitful prayer life. Every Christ-follower ought to live a prayer life. Prayer is not for a few; we need to pray as Christians.

Luke 18:1b “that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,

Prayer is a ministry of its own, and there are benefits to it. I am a living testimony. When you are prayerful, you become powerful. Powerful in the sense that you become too hot to be harassed by the enemies.

Acts 6:4 says, But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the word.

The truth is that a prayerful believer ought not to be sick if he understands his place in prayer.

I repeated it. A prayerful believer should not be sick if he understands his place in prayer.

DIVIDED CHRISTIANS

The reason why we are so sickly and frustrated is that we are so divided. Being divided is one of the very reasons Christ came. He came to unite us as one, which was one of His prayer points. He prayed to the Father in John 17:21. that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

If you take a second look at the above scripture when you read through the lines, you will come to know the essence of Christ, which is the purpose of our living. That prayer wasn’t mac and cheese; it wasn’t something coming from His head, but His heart crying out to the Father with us in His thought.

Paul the Apostle continued from where the earthly ministry of Christ ended by seriously appealing to every believer to stay away from division.

1 Corinthians 1:10. I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

We are so divided that even the Devil knows we are divided when we pray. Because of our division level, praying sounds like the pharisee in Luke 18:10 to 12. “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.  The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

How can one be healthy or move a mountain with this kind of prayer that is so divisive? So you see why I said if you are a prayerful Christian experiencing ups and downs in your health or any other area in life, it means you are out of Love?

Love doesn’t only mean giving and receiving; we bless God for that, but that is not the only purpose of Love. Someone can give without loving, but you can’t be in Love without being a giver. Unfortunately, some give to please the IRS, not because they want to or because they love giving.

The right way to express our Christianity is to live out Christ. That is, let John 17:21 and 1 Corinthians 1:10 become our lifestyle. Everyone who sees us should see these scriptures reflected in our lives. It will reduce our prayer points and wine more to Christ. That is what the scripture said in Matthew 5:16.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.’

I’m just telling you what the Holy Spirit taught me, and it is a choice for you to make. If you make the same choice I made, the result will be outstanding. Love is the nature of God, but when you choose to be divisive, you are opening your life to your enemy, the Devil.

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. Matthew 12:25.

TOGETHERNESS IS THE WEAPON

Ephesians 4:11-13 says, “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,  to equip his people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Until we all come in the unity of the faith, this scripture means that if we’re ever going to become truly powerful in the kingdom of God, if we’re ever going to be any significant threat to the Devil, we’ll have to grow up together.

It won’t be enough for just a few of us to grow up on our own and say, “Too bad” about everyone else. It doesn’t work that way. We’re a part of each other. The Bible calls us one Body, the Body of Christ.

We’re not islands unto ourselves. We’re joined together by God but held together by one another (Ephesians 4:16). We can only grow up together!

Learn to walk in Love. Refuse to fall prey to division and isolation.

Study Acts 2, verses 1 through 47. Being united as believers has an advantage to what we do on earth. The Apostles were united, making them walk in the supernatural and grow their ministries.
