Understanding The Word

RECEIVE THE WORD WITH UNDERSTANDING

Matthew 13:3. “Then he told them many things in parables, saying: ” A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still, other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.v18. Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and is not understanding the word, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the Word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the Word, he quickly falls away. The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the Word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the Word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

The seed is the Word of God, and the ground or the soil is our heart. In 1 Peter 1:23.  Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever,

The Word of God is never at fault; the Word is the answer to every problem we can imagine. Everything that we will ever use to overcome our challenges will come through the understanding of the Word of God.

The problem of why we are not receiving what we desire from God is not that the Word is not working! Not the Word! But it is the way we respond to the Word. The same way that the farmer value and protect the seed for another year harvest is the same way we need to place value on the Word of God we have received in other to bring forth our desire expectation.

From the above scriptures, we should know that God is using natural things to explain to us how the Kingdom works. There is life in the seed, but where we plant, it will determine its produce; and so also it is to our spiritual life. That is, if we want the Word of God to produce in our life, then we have to accept it with understanding.

“ But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” Mark 4:8.

As small as the natural seed can be, it can grow to become a big tree and produce a lot of fruits if it’s given the right soil. The scripture says in Hebrews 4:12. For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discern-er of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word works for everyone who has the right heart for it. Every problem we have in our lives is because of our ignorance of the Word of God. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6. We have to have the right mentality concerning God’s Word. The truth is that everything revolves around a seed; no seed, no fruit. The life of every tree is in its grain. The result of expectation is in the Word/Seed.

Go for the Word. Go for understanding; your understanding creates a better environment for the Word – Seed in you.

Three things you need to understand:

1.
We have been qualified for God’s inheritance.

Colossians 1:12. “Giving thanks to the father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

WE have been qualified for every good thing in life, including our health. The scripture said every good and perfect gift comes from God. Everything we think it’s suitable for this life we have been qualified for it. Jesus qualified us. It’s not about us; it’s about Jesus. Our minds will say we are not, but Jesus said we are, and that is what we have to believe.

We should’ t use our negative life experience to judge our present state of life; we should use Jesus and what He has done to rule ourselves. Our minds will want to talk us down; we should refuse it.

Scripture said

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17.

 God sees Himself in us.

2.
Being transformed through our imagination:

Genesis 11:6. “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

“What they have imagined. What these people have seen themselves becoming is what they will become.

The eyes of our imagination are more superior to the natural eyes. We don’t do anything without first using the eyes of our imagination. When the eyes of the imagination are blind, the two natural eyes will not see.

In Genesis 13:15. God told Abraham that as far as he could see will be his. God was talking about the eyes of his imagination. “All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring[a] forever.

God asked Jeremiah, what do you see? And Jeremiah told him what he saw, and God said He would Hasting His Word to perform it. Jeremiah 24:3. It would be best if we see ourselves healed, healthy, and perfect.

TRANSFORMED BY THE WORD

3.
Being transformed through UndERSTANDING THE WORD:

Matthew 12:37. “By your words, you will be declared innocent, or by your words, you will be declared guilty.”

We, as humans, were not created to talk negatively. We shouldn’t speak our felling; we should talk about what we want to see. We need to talk about our future and not our present. When we talk negatively about ourselves because of what we are going through, we corrupt our prospects. Still, when we start talking positive about ourselves, irrespective of what we are going through, we are creating a positive future for ourselves. “For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Words have power; to create a life for ourselves or to die, to be healthy, or to be sick. Nothing works without words, in Genesis 1.  God created the heavens and the earth, but there was darkness over what He created. He has to speak with his words and said, let there be light.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, ”Let there be light,” and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3.

The Spirit and the Angels are waiting for our words so they can effectively carry out there to work. They only work with terms that agreed with God’s Word. They don’t work with negatives words, but Satan does. Proverbs 18:21. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

The promise of God is voice–activated. It is Godly wisdom to speak God’s Word during a crisis.

Voicing God’s Word means we agree with God. It means we believed His Word, and we are not ashamed of what He has said. The victory that Christ has already worn and made us a Victor can only be sustained through our faithful, positive words. We have to learn and decides to speak back to the negative thoughts coming out of your mind. The mind is where the battle is.

“When you are in control of your mind, you will be in control of your life and health. “

That is why God said we should guard our hearts with all diligence for out it is issues of life. Proverbs 4:23.

We should guard our heart, which is our mind with the Word. Positive words, the Word of God that we believe in your heart. Speak it out with your mouth if we want to see it in your life.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23.
