We are Perfect in God’s eyes
And God said, ”Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:3,4, and 10. God looks at us and says we are good, we are his creation, and we are perfect in God’s eyes.
It is very vital to know who we are in Christ. With the knowledge of who we are will come boldness to be that person whom God has made us be. When we understand who we are, we will realize why we mustn’t judge ourselves based on what others say.
If you want people to commend you, then you will need to commend yourself first. You have to see good in you, and you have to see good in what you do before people will see what you see in yourself.
From the above scripture, after God created something, the first thing He did was call what He made “Good”, and it automatically became good.
God saw good in all that He created, and it was perfect. Everything that God formed, made or created is good; God saw that it was suitable, including us humans. God made us uniquely, and there is no imperfection in us.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalms 139:14.
The idea of redesigning our body, changing our skin or hair color, indirectly says that God is not correct when He said we are good. “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19.
Changing the way, we talk that is changing our voice and changing our genetic organ is rebellious. We have to see ourselves the way the creator that is God sees us; we have to see and believe that we are excellent, and the works of our hands are perfect irrespective of what people are saying or might say about us. We shouldn’t wait for commendation; we should commend ourselves and accept that we are good and perfect in God. God, the creator of the universe, our perfect example, wasn’t waiting for anyone to approve of Him, His work or commend Him. The scriptures said after He has created, God saw that what He has made is good, and it automatically became what He saw.
By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world. 1 John 4:17.
The perfect reflection of who we are and what we can do is Jesus. As the scripture said, as He is, so are we. Whatever He is, whatever He will do, or whatever He has done, we can see ourselves from that perspective. We are not duplicates; we are original. We are exact copies of Him. We have His DNA. Whatever potential He has is in us, we should start seeing ourselves differently from what we use to. We can change people’s opinions about us by first changing how we view ourselves. We should start seeing the things we do as perfect.
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27.
