What Faith Can Do
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen; by it faith, the elders receive a good report (testimony), Hebrews 11:1,2.
“For by faith the elders receive a good report.”
Faith receives testimony. Faith is not something you do to get God to do something in return. Faith only receives what God has made available through Christ Jesus.
Faith cannot give you what God has not done through Christ Jesus. By Faith, we obtain and receive. Faith only receives what God has made available through Christ Jesus.
Four Things God Provided Already Through Jesus Christ:
We will receive them by Faith, because it’s already done.
Number One: Deliverance: Who has delivered from the power of darkness and translated to the kingdom of His dear Son? Col 1:13. Faith receives deliverance because Christ already did it. Christ has already delivered us from whatever challenge we are facing. Our primary duty is to receive what Christ already did for us.
Number Two: Healing: 1 Pet 2:24. By His (Jesus’) wounds we have been healed. In Christ, we have been healed, and faith receives the healing.
Jesus took our illness. In Jesus Christ, we are all healed. Faith receives the healing.
Number Three: Prosperity: For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
Jesus Christ exchanged His life for ours. He became poor so that through His poverty we may become rich. Faith receives the prosperity that Christ made available.
Number Four: Righteousness: God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so in Him we may become the righteousness of God 2Cor 5:21. Faith receives righteousness. Our Faith can’t make us righteous if righteousness has not been made available.
Jesus has qualified all of us for all the blessings of the Kingdom, but it takes faith to receive. Faith doesn’t manipulate God, but it’s our ticket to receive from the Lord.
Our responsibility is to believe and receive what Christ has done.
And giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:12.
We are not qualified by our performance but by total reliance, trust, and believe in what Christ has done. All of us has received the measure of Faith, so it means we don’t have a faith problem because we all have faith given to us by the Lord Romans 12:3. We don’t keep rules to have faith, because by the grace given to us we should not think if ourselves more highly as we ought but according to the measure of faith given us.
The bible says that if we have faith as small as the mustard seed, we can speak to the mountain to move and it will move, Matthew 17:20.
Faith is our ability to remain focused on God’s word, which is His will, regardless of the situation we are facing. God’s word is His will.
Faith will not work where the will of God is not known. The bible says we shall know the truth, and the truth will make us free. God’s word is His will.
Faith is also having trust in the finished work of Christ, John 15:7.
Our faith cannot manipulate God; God has finished the work in Christ. We all have faith because the Lord gave us the measure of faith.
