WHO IS GOD?

Who is God?

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. “

John 3:6.

Every living creature produces its kind, and if God is a Spirit, then we are spirit if truly, we believe He is our Father. Being a spirit because God is a Spirit doesn’t mean denying our earthly nature.

We have this earthly body because we live in the earthly realm, and we need that body to function with worldly people. So we relate to God as one born of the Spirit, and we relate to our earthly parent as one born of the flesh.

Seven Benefits of Praying in the Spirit

Verse twelve of John three says, If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? Verse thirty-one of John three continues, “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

We communicate to God with heavenly language, and we speak to our earthly parents with earthly language because that is what they understand. God’s language is His Word, the Bible. When you speak words contrary to the Bible’s terms, it doesn’t produce a positive outcome because you are out of the code.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63.

We got to know that we have God’s nature because He is our Heavenly Father; relate to Him from that perspective, then we begin to walk in agreement. However, we might not fully benefit from our spiritual inheritance until we do just that.

Galatians 4:6. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, Abba, Father!” Verse Seven of Galatians Four. So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

Most of us are not yet benefiting from our Godly inheritance because we are still acting like babies, not fully grown up to leave out of the spiritual nature. It doesn’t matter if you are a Christian or church official. As long as you keep relating to God from your earthly being, you keep yourself away from the inheritance.

Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the Father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. Galatians 4:1-3.

The Spirit of God in us, His nature that we received when we gave our lives; that is our new birth. That spirit life relates to God as a son and not an enslaved person or servant. Our life in Christ is superior to that of the natural. We are considered firstborn. First child; He gave birth to us.

James 1:18. By his own choice, he gave us birth by the word of truth so that we would be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Every good parent loves their kids, and what you love, you protect. We are God’s children, and God has made a provision for our safety. Our lives’ safety is part of the inheritance, and we are an heir to that inheritance. We should see ourselves as God sees us, as healed, perfect, and with no spot or wrinkle.

I believe that is how father Abraham sees himself and walks with God with that view; no wonder his life and marriage were successful. God’s words reveal the real us, the exact person, who we are, and How God has made us.

GODLY VIEW IN MARRIAGE

Genesis 20:12. But indeed she is truly my sister. She is the daughter of my Father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

The scripture above indicates that father Abraham was married to his half-sister. I believe this was a spiritual reflection on how we should relate to our spouses. God is a Spirit, and He relates to His duplicate Spirit inside of us because He made us as spiritual beings.

Genesis 1:27. And God made man in His image. In the image of God, He made him. He made both male and female.

Most of the time, God uses physical things to illustrate a message to us because of the physical body we are putting on. Yes, Abraham was married to his half-sister, so the scripture told us but flipped the coin to the spirit as God asks us to be spiritually minded.

Romans 8:6.  For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

God said husband and wife are one and not two in Genesis 2:24. Therefore a man shall leave his Father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

I believe it means they are one parent from one source; God is their Father. In spirit, we are all God’s children, which is the real us. My wife is my sister, and I am her brother because we are born of the same Father in the spirit.

John 3:6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Abraham never had any issues with his half-sister, being his wife. Even in the natural sense, you will hardly see a brother and sister born of the same parents from one DNA having significant problems that will break their relationship forever.

Siblings will always get along irrespective of their differences. I believe that is how God wants us to live with our spouses. It is working out well for me as I view my wife like my sister, and you know, naturally, I will not want to betray or stab my biological sister. So, I won’t even dare to kill my spiritual sister. (My Wife)

I am not saying you should go and marry your biological sister. Not at all. I am just relating to the spiritual nature we have in Christ. The scripture reveals that we are created in God’s image and born of the spirit.

Genesis 1:27. And God made man in His image. In the image of God, He made him. He made both male and female.

We are a spirit that lives in the body and has a soul; If we bring this understanding into our marriage relationship, it will help illuminate marital challenges for God being our Father.

1 John 3:1. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

Abraham with his wife understood that God is their Father, and they see themselves as siblings; this knowledge makes them live peacefully in their marital life. Sarah was so respectful, full of obedient and submissive to her brother, calling him my Lord.

1 Peter 3:6. As Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

As long spouses see themselves from different parents, even when the scripture has said both of them are one, they will keep having troubles. Genesis 2:24.  Therefore a man shall leave his Father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

The man and the woman become one when they are married. It means both of them no longer see themselves as different or from the other womb but become one in union with God.

1 Corinthians 6:17. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Even in the world system, you hardly find children born of the same parents killing each other with knives, guns, or having unsettled fighting. Yet, suppose you have ever seen one. Then, it’s demonic, satanic, and not of God if it happens in your family.

Christianity is not a religion or a denomination; Christianity is a living thing; it’s living the Father’s life here on earth. It is a living relationship with God in Christ Jesus. Colossians 2:6. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Until you agree with your spiritual nature, belief in it, think it and live it, you will not fully access or benefit from the things in the spiritual realm.

Romans 8:6-10. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

If you want to experience everlasting peace in your marital life, marriage without divorce, then humble yourself to walk with God from your spiritual standpoint.
