Who Is Perfect?

Hello, I’m Felix Harcourt, and welcome to the healing school. Friends, “Who is perfect? This was a response to our last December virtual fellowship meeting: “The secret of becoming perfect in life.”  I will encourage you to listen to that message. It will bless your life. “The secret of becoming perfect in life.” Praise God!

Friends, today I want to respond to all of you who were part of that debate, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will help us understand what I’m privileged to share with you in the Name of Jesus! “Who Is Perfect? In the beginning, when God made the universe. The scripture said in Genesis that after God has created everything, He said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and God made the first man Adam.’ Adam, with God’s nature in him, made him (Adam) to be perfect. Why? The reason is that he had the nature of God in him, and that was what made Adam perfect until he sold his birthright to Satan by yielding to Satan’s deception, and that was the beginning of imperfection in man.

The scripture says, “For as by one man’s disobedience (Adam, the first man) many (every one of us, before accepting Christ) were made sinners” Romans 5:19 K.J.V. So we became a sinners because of Adam’s Sin. Not necessarily our sin. No! It was Adam’s transgression. Why? Because his nature was in us through conception. Psalms 51:5 N.I.V Says. “Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. So, every one of us, before accepting Jesus into our lives, had the nature of Adam, the nature of sin. S.I.N. singular sin. This nature of sin is what gives birth to the act of sin.

Friends, I don’t think I can give you all I have in this short time. As I’m talking, more is coming into me. I encourage you to read our blog and schedule a meeting with me to learn more about this perfectness in Christ Jesus.  Praise God!

Friends, Christ didn’t just come because of our act of sinning. Not really! He came to reconcile us to the Father, and for Him to fully actualize that was to become a sin Himself. The scripture says, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the Righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 N.I.V. Christ had no sin. Any human didn’t conceive him. He took our singular sin, the nature of sin we inherited from Adam. That was what separated us from God the Father, but praise God! The Hope is that Christ gave us His nature as he took our sins. He gave us the nature of God the Father in Him. Praise God!

That is what the scripture said in 2 Corinthians 5:21. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we will become the Righteousness of God. Praise God! The book of Romans 5:19 we read before also said, “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one ( that is Jesus) shall many be made righteous. Praise God! Friends, if you have made Jesus the Lord of your life,  then you have the nature of God in you. That is what changed my life. I became a sinner because of one man called Adam, and now I become righteous because of Christ Jesus! Praise God!

Some of you find it so easy to believe in Adam but find it so difficult to believe in Christ Jesus. Friends, the scripture says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 K.J.V., “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. That is not talking about your color, size, or how you think. None of those. Why? If you are brown or white. Your looks will not change, just like me.  My color remains the same, but I have Christ in me.  So, it means that when you accept Jesus, the old nature is gone—the nature of Adam. Sin nature, and now you have His nature, Righteousness. Praise God!

Friends, with this righteous nature, the nature of God in Christ, this nature is what made you perfect. Praise God! This new nature is the real you, and that is who God relates with. Apostle Paul succeeded in his Christian walk because he understood the reality of his new birth in Christ. His old life wasn’t an obstacle to him. Why? Because he was living his life from the inside out. And that is what Christianity is. Living the life of the person inside of you. Praise God! That is why Paul confidently declared  , “I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 K.J.V. Through Christ in him, not independently but because of Christ’s nature, he can do all things. He saw himself perfect in Christ to do the impossible.

Friends, the problem most of you are having is unbelieved caused by religious beliefs. None of us has done half of what Paul did; his message was directly from Jesus. He said, ” I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:12 N.L.T. Praise God! Friends, you are perfect in your spirit; that is the real you. The old person is gone if you have Christ in you.  And that new person in you is the person God relates with.

In Galatians 2:20, N.L.T. Paul declared. “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Praise God! Friends, believe in who you have inside of you. Let go of the old person by renewing your mind. That is, allowing God’s Word to change your old religious thinking. “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,” Romans 12:2 K.J.V.

God’s responsibility was to give you a new life when you accepted Christ Jesus. You are responsible for working on your mind by consistently allowing His Word to influence your thinking. Friends, the nature of God in you is perfect, complete, healthy, and wealthy, and nothing can corrupt it. Praise God! The scripture says that after we put our trust in Jesus because of the Word of salvation we heard and believed,  we are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption “(Ephesians 1:13-14).

Friends, we are secure in Christ, Christ in you the Hope of glory. Start believing who you are in your spirit and see your life transform. The scripture says, “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6 K.J.V. To be carnal is when your senses rule you.  Nothing of God’s Word makes sense to you. Friends, we don’t live the Christian lives from our flesh. No! We live from our spirit. The spirit of the Father that dwells in us who is perfect. Praise God!

When God says you are perfect, complete, healthy, wealthy, holy, righteous, strong, and all those things you struggle to believe. He is not talking about your old self but the new you in Christ Jesus. Praise God! Friends, we must stop here before they cut me off because of time.  But before we go.  Let’s give opportunity to those of you who haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, and if you are willing and ready, please repeat these words after me.

Lord Jesus. I confess my sin. I accept you into my life to be my lord and savior. Thank you for saving me in Jesus’ Name, Amen. Praise God. Friends,  start seeing yourself the way God sees you.  “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:2 N.I.V. As Christ is in heaven, so are we here on earth. Praise God! I’m complete in Christ. Everything Christ is in heaven, so I am here on earth. I  believe, speak, meditate, become conscious of who I am in Christ, and act it out. Praise God!

Faith without corresponding actions is not faith. I’m perfect in Christ Jesus. I’m not a sinner but a saint. So are you. In the Name of Jesus! Praise God. I am perfect in Christ Jesus. I see myself from God’s lens because I have Him inside me. I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am a prisoner, a slave to Righteousness. I refuse my flesh to rule me. I refuse to redefine myself because of my fleshly lust. Why? Because a king will remain a king who despises his fleshly lifestyle. I have His D.N.A. Praise God! I wish I had more time. Please feel free to ask any questions; you can always take advantage of our materials. Let’s pray.
