Why Is My Prayer Not Answered?

Hello, I’m Felix Harcourt, and welcome to the healing school.

Friends, today, my discussion with you will focus on a question that has been asked. “Why Is My Prayer Not Answered? Have you ever asked a question like this before? For me, I have. And that is why I’m doing what I’m doing today after being delivered from such an ignorant place. And I bless God for His faithfulness.

The question is, “Why Is My Prayer Not Answered? Good question! Why? Because prayer ought to be answered when we pray. God doesn’t withhold prayer from us. Really? Yes, He doesn’t. My prayer is not answered, not because of the things I think I have done wrong or am doing wrong, and/or the things I think I have to do that I haven’t done. None of these thoughts is godly. These are the thoughts that came to mind, man, after the fall of Adam. These thoughts were relevant in the first covenant because Man was judged based on his perfection.

In this new covenant, the code of judging man has changed after the cross. Jesus took our place, and He has been judged perfectly; therefore, we are perfect in God’s eyes because of Christ’s perfection. So, God’s response towards us is based on how intensely we believe in who Christ is and what He has accomplished for us. In other words, when you come to God in the Name of Jesus, God no longer sees you but sees Christ in you and His finished work that you believe.

In Colossians 1:21-22. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because ofyour evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

You see, in God’s eyes, looking at us, we’re clean as clean will ever be, but on ourselves, we’re nothing because we’re still looking at ourselves from the old covenant perspective, which is not supposed to be so. Friends, God is faithful. He is a good God who gifted us all things in Christ Jesus. So, we should take ownership and start receiving all that He has done. We should be on the receiving end, not on the begging side. Please be on the receiving end to receive all Christ has done for you. You are supposed to be driving the enemy away from your inheritance, not him keeping you away from what belongs to you. Not at all! Friends, please take ownership of your redemptive rights. The Scripture said in Romans 8:32. He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

So, it means nothing that we ask or want that God cannot give to us. Nothing. In the mouth of two, the truth is established. In 2 Peter 1:3,His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Not may. He has already given us all things in Christ Jesus. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen with our natural eyes but existing. For by Faith, the elders obtained a good testimony, a good report. Hebrews 11:1,2. Everything we need is in the gift of Christ. If you have Christ in you and believe that He has saved you and forgiven your Sin, also believe He has given you the things you are asking for—the same principle.

The question is, “Why is my prayer not answered? Now, let’s answer that question! In  Mark 11:24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

“What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. When you pray, it is not when God answers. God is not withholding anything from you. He said He had given you everything pertaining to Life and godliness. Prayer is your Faith taking hold of what belongs to you in the spiritual realm. Faith is our spiritual currency for receiving all that Grace has provided: Christ. Prayer is acting on your Faith; Faith without works is dead. Faith doesn’t create or formulate something that does not yet exist.

From the Scripture we read, Faith has already seen something that exists (desire, expectations. In the intercessor’s heart are pictures of hope, believed in, which are followed by their action through prayer. It means prayer starts with a desire, followed by praying for its manifestation. Believe you have your desire met, receive it, and you will have it. “Whatever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them—calling forth those things that be not as though they were. Faith is a substance of things we hoped for, the evidence of things that truly exist but are not seen with our natural eyes. That is why I said prayer is acting out your Faith in response to what you believe. Friends,  the kingdom where we belong operates differently, and until we know that,  we will not be able to be in control of what has been gifted to us by Christ Jesus. In Genesis, the Lord said, “Let us make man in our image and our likeness and let them (us) have Dominion (be in control of this earth, and all that is in it. Friends, we are His extension; this earth has been given to us. We should not live like strangers and victims. That is why we must preach this kingdom message to every ear.

I pray that you will understand and your eyes will be open to seeing beyond the natural in the Name of Jesus. I pray that you will be healed from every illness. I take authority over every work of the devil over your Life, and I command his work to be broken out of your Life in the Name of Jesus. I declare you free.

Friends, I will not stop without reminding you of who Jesus is. He is the Lord of my Life. Ever since He found me, He has made my Life meaningful. Friends, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If you accept Christ into your Life, your Heaven is secure. You can’t lose your salvation. That is why it’s called a gift. So, if you are willing and ready, let us make this confession together.

Lord Jesus. I confess my Sin. I accept you into my Life to be my Lord and Savior.  Thank you for saving me in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Friends, the question was, why is my prayer not answered? The Scripture we read in Mark 11:24 suggests that it’s not up to God, but up to us. We received an answer to our prayers when we believed in our prayers. The Scripture says, “Whatever you desire, when you pray, believe that you do what? Receive them. Received what? Received what you are praying for, and you shall have them. Friends, God does not withhold our prayers.  Whatever you desire is already yours in Christ Jesus. So when you pray, believe that you received what you are praying for, and you will have it.
